- Start a call: an HTTP request to
POST https://api.telleo.ai/v1/calls. - Receive the result: a webhook trigger whose URL you set as your Telleo webhook.
Start a call
Configure your tool’s HTTP step like this:{{…}} with the fields your tool offers from the trigger (a new Google Sheets row, a Facebook lead, a new CRM contact). Make sure the phone number reaches Telleo as +91XXXXXXXXXX; most tools have a text formatter step for that.
- Zapier
- Make
- n8n
Add an action Webhooks by Zapier → Custom Request (Webhooks is available on Zapier’s paid plans). Choose
POST, paste the URL, put the JSON in Data and add the three headers.Receive the result
- Create a webhook trigger in your tool: Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook, Make Webhooks → Custom webhook, or the n8n Webhook node (method
POST). - Copy its URL into Settings → AI calling → API & webhooks → Webhook and save.
- Click Send test event so the tool learns the shape of the data. For a realistic sample, also place a test call.
- Map
data.contact.external_id,data.outcome.disposition,data.outcome.summaryand the other fields into the next step (update a row, a CRM record, send a WhatsApp…).
Automation tools usually cannot check the
Telleo-Signature header. Keep the hook URL private and, if the tool supports it, filter on type being call.completed or call.not_connected. For anything sensitive, receive webhooks on your own server and verify them.Example: Google Sheets → call → Google Sheets
- Trigger: new row in Leads (columns: name, phone, course).
- HTTP request:
POST /v1/callswith the row number asexternal_idandIdempotency-Key. - Second scenario: Catch the webhook → Update row where row number =
data.contact.external_id, writing disposition, summary and lead rating.
